Elitza Kavrakova, Author at Trade Treasury Payments

Ms. Elitza Kavrakova is Group Head Institutional Clients. She is responsible for RBI Group’s business with financial intermediaries like Banks, Insurances, Private Equity/Debt and Venture Capital Funds, Pension Funds, Asset Managers, Supranationals as well as Federal Governments, Ministries of Finance and other Sovereign entities across the markets RBI is active in.

In 1999, she started her career at Raiffeisen Zentralbank AG in the Trade Finance Department. Few years later Elitza joined the Financial Institutions team, covering as a Senior the SEE region, originating across the whole commercial and capital markets/IB product universe for banks and non-bank FIs. 2008 Elitza took over the lead of the FI team for CEE, managing the portfolio successfully through the financial crisis and beyond.

2019 Elitza was promoted to Head of Institutional Clients East team of RBI AG covering CE, CIS, SEE and Turkey. Apart from a strong focus commercial and capital market and investment products as well as DCM, Elitza has been part of a core team designing a groundbreaking business compliance framework of RBI in 2019, which is a cutting-edge tool for managing correspondent banking portfolio of the bank.

Elitza Kavrakova holds two Master degrees – Economics from University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna and from the Faculty of Law of Johannes Kepler Universität in Linz, Austria.

Additionally she is a member of CEE Regional Committee of the International Trade and Forfaiting Association (ITFA).
