WTO Public Forum 2025
17-18 September
WTO HQ (Geneva)
The annual WTO Public Forum, the organisation’s premier outreach event, returns this year with its powerful theme: “Enhance, create, and preserve.” Scheduled for 17–18 September 2025 at the WTO headquarters in Geneva, the Forum invites more than 2,000 global stakeholders; from civil society and academia to business, governments, and media to engage in shaping the future of global trade. Participation is free of charge, but registration closes on 22 August 2025, and is strictly required in advance.
This year’s programme features 77 sessions reflecting the growing importance of digitalisation in international trade. They will explore how emerging technologies are reshaping connectivity, innovation, and cooperation within the trading system. The sessions are organised by a diverse range of contributors: 37% by civil society, 27% by WTO members, 17% by the business community, 16% by other stakeholders, and 3% by the WTO Secretariat itself.
